Oh Canada!

Earlier this month, Eddie and I took Joy and my eldest step-daughter, Jessica, to Niagara Falls, Canada. Frankly, it was a very spontaneous trip and that's another story, but I had to share some photos and encourage everyone to go if you have never been. The falls are amazing and the city is a great place to visit. The people are very friendly and the city is clean, safe and has lots of fun things to do and see. So, here are some pics...

Eddie and Joy at Niagara on the Lake, a historic little town nearby with great shops,
galleries and restaurants, a great side trip. The flowers everywhere are unbelievable.

Jet Boat tour through class 5 rapids and the whirlpool, what a WET blast
going through the rapids! A must do!

View of the falls from the "Maid of the Mist" boat which rides you into the falls.
Joy even went on this one with us.

Overlooking the falls from an observation area right behind
our hotel, the Marriot. Even our rooms overlooked the falls.

Eddie and me on the falls side of the Niagara Casino and Spa
(The falls are to our left all along this walkway behind the hotels)

Thanks to Alexis for the picture posting help. I wasn't giving them enought time to upload.
Because I'm impatient I didn't post many and pictures this size don't do the falls justice. If anyone decides to go let me know and I will give you the scoop on where to stay, etc.

Not sure if this helps, but here is how I upload photos:

1) click on the picture next the spell check button (it says add image)
2) choose file-just like adding an attachment
3) click "upload image" and wait very patiently while image uploads into the post. It can sometimes take a few minutes.

Once the image has uploaded you will see a bunch of mumbo jumbo text in your text box (where you write your post).

Hope that helps! I really want to see the photos, I've never been to Niagra Falls!
Love,
Alexis

These are beautiful photos! I went once in the middle of winter and everything was frozen over. completely. it was a much different experience. We went to the canadian side. I liked it over there, although there seemed to be a lot of chinese restaurants. Too many, if you ask me.
